      - Windows XP operating system
      - Windows XP cd

+Try
      - Place the xp cd in your cd/dvd drive
     - Go to start
     - run
     - type in 'sfc /scannow' (without the ')

Now it should all load, and fix all your corrupted file on windows XP :)
